About FPC Construction
Based in North Augusta, South Carolina, we build high-durability residential and commercial flatwork engineered specifically for Southeastern soils, heavy precipitation, and intense summer climate.
Concrete Built to Outlast Carolina Weather
In the concrete industry, anyone can pour ready-mix and make it look clean for the first thirty days. But across South Carolina—where shifting Sandhills sands, expansive Piedmont red clays, and tropical storm downpours constantly test subgrade integrity—shortcuts taken beneath the surface guarantee early failure.
At FPC Construction, we founded our company on an uncompromising principle: every pour must be engineered from the subsoil up. That means cutting out uncompacted organic dirt, placing a minimum 4-inch compacted aggregate base (crusher run), tying Grade 60 #4 steel rebar on supporting chairs, and pouring 4,000+ PSI low-water ready-mix.

Our History: Built From Heavy Groundwork Up
FPC Construction LLC was founded in 2020 by principal contractor Filemon “Filly” Pineda, bringing over 15 years of hands-on excavation, heavy-equipment, and concrete craftsmanship to the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). What started as a dedicated site-work and land-grading outfit quickly expanded into North Augusta's most reliable full-service concrete and structural flatwork contractor.
As a family-owned business headquartered at 584 Ridge Road in North Augusta, our reputation is built directly on word-of-mouth trust and community accountability. We maintain active local ties throughout Aiken and Edgefield counties, including recognized parish community sponsorships at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in North Augusta.
When Hurricane Helene swept through the CSRA causing severe erosion, tree falls, and catastrophic driveway washouts, Filemon and the FPC Construction crews worked tirelessly across Aiken County—rebuilding washed-out crusher-run driveways, installing protective runoff swales, and stabilizing residential foundations below estimated costs. That steadfast reliability is why we hold an unblemished 5.0-Star Google rating across 33 verified client reviews.

Founder & Principal ContractorLaser-Set Drainage
We calibrate minimum 1/8 to 1/4 inch per foot slopes with optical laser levels, ensuring stormwater sheds away from home foundations without standing water.
Proper Reinforcement
We never lay rebar flat on the dirt or rely on trampled wire mesh. We tie steel rebar grids elevated on chairs in the middle third of the slab depth.
Clean Job Sites
We respect your private property. We utilize ground protection mats, backfill form edges, and run magnetic nail sweeps before departing.
South Carolina Licensing & Credentials
Industrial Machinery Dedicated to Every Project
Reliable concrete installations require heavy equipment capable of excavating native clays, compacting crushed stone to engineering standards, and screeding flatwork with millimeter precision. We own, maintain, and operate our dedicated equipment fleet.
Excavation & Grading
Bobcat T770 compact track loaders with laser-guided grading boxes ensure complete topsoil stripping and precision subgrade leveling.
Subbase Compaction
Wacker Neuson reversible plate compactors achieve 95% Standard Proctor density on all crusher-run aggregate beds before formwork.
Laser Slope Control
Spectra Precision dual-slope grade lasers establish optical drainage slopes (minimum 1/4 inch per foot) to prevent water ponding.
Finishing & Joints
Whiteman power trowels, Husqvarna dustless diamond saws, and heavy walk-behind groovers cut contraction joints within 24 hours of placement.
Our 5-Year Workmanship Warranty & Guarantee
Every project completed by FPC Construction is backed by a written 5-year structural workmanship warranty. We guarantee that your concrete driveway, patio, or foundation slab is placed over an approved compacted aggregate base, reinforced with Grade 60 steel rebar matrices elevated on chairs, and poured using minimum 4,000 PSI ready-mix.
We believe in 100% financial transparency: you receive a line-item written proposal detailing labor, materials, excavation depth, and rebar specifications. We operate with milestone-based payment schedules—never requiring final payment until the job is completed and you have conducted an on-site walkthrough inspection.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
If any aspect of our finished flatwork does not meet South Carolina Residential Builders Commission or ACI standards, we return and make it right at zero expense to you.
